Everything you need to know about the Curling World Cup

The sport's eagerly awaited new series gets underway in September and the World Curling Federation has revealed more details

The new Curling World Cup will commence in September and the World Curling Federation can now reveal more details about this new four-leg international series.

The first of the four legs will take place in the Suzhou Sports Center, in Suzhou, China. It will then head to the Ralston Arena in Omaha, United States.

Next up will be the Jonkoping Curling Club in Jonkoping, Sweden. The series then concludes with the Grand Final, in Beijing, China.

The event dates for 2018-2019 are:

• Suzhou Sports Center, Suzhou, China: 12-16 September

• Ralston Arena, Omaha, United States: 5-9 December

• Jonkoping Curling Club, Jonkoping, Sweden: 30 January-3 February

• Beijing, China: 8-12 May

Each event will have its own unique colour scheme based on the series’ new brand identity. These distinctions will be most prominent on perimeter boards and in the design of the houses.
