Olympian and former European champion Kapp appointed as Sport Manager for World Cup
European champion brings world class expertise to new role
German Olympian Uli Kapp has been appointed Sport Manager for the Curling World Cup.
Right-handed Kapp, who played third for his brother Andy, has won European Curling Championships three times in 1991, 1992 and 1997, and collected two silver and three bronze medals at the World Championships.
He represented Germany at the Winter Olympics in 1998 at Nagano and in 2006 at Turin, finishing eighth both times. Since injury ended his career in 2009, Kapp has worked as a curling commentator for Eurosport and as a sport business consultant.
